What is SNAP®

The SNAP® Model is designed for children aged 6-11 who are engaging in aggressive, anti-social behaviour and/or have come into contact with the police as a result of their own behaviour. Stop Now And Plan (SNAP®) is an award-winning evidence-based manualized cognitive-behavioural program.

SNAP® for Kids

 Established in 1985, the mandate of the SNAP® Program is to serve children under the age of 12 who engage in antisocial behaviours, but do not legally fall under the purview of Canada's Youth Criminal Justice Act.There are several components of the SNAP® program that respond to young children in conflict with the law.

SNAP® for Parents

In addition to assisting children with antisocial behaviours, the SNAP® Program also provides support for the parents/guardians of the children enrolled in SNAP®. SNAP® offers a social learning theory approach to parent training groups.
